Bangor’s massive holiday tree is being installed today around 8 a.m. and was donated by Dan Sprague of Sprague’s Nursery—It will show a daily light and music display and its lighting event on Nov 28 will kick off the city’s Plaid Friday shopping event.

The Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce has launched a pasta drive to help local food pantries as food insecurity rises, asking community members and businesses to donate pasta, sauce, or parmesan until December 5.

The chamber, serving 21 communities, will coordinate pick-ups for large donations—supporting efforts to feed families in need.
