- ➤ Food and Medicine is hosting a monthly resource fair at Bangor Public Library where 18 to 20 groups offer services such as housing and addiction support. The next fair will be on Dec. 10 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. — organizers expect 30 to 50 attendees and hope the event will reach even more people. FOX Bangor
- ➤ Bangor’s Hope House is expanding to add 12 beds and more space for emergency flex beds and transitional housing by the end of 2026. The $5 million project—funded by American Rescue Plan dollars, the Maine State Housing Authority, the City of Bangor, and Penobscot County—will help more people secure safe shelter during cold days.
