- ➤ Actress and comedian Karmo Sanders, known as The Marden’s Lady, died Sunday in Scarborough at age 74 — she was a celebrated local theater figure with a long career in acting and teaching. - ➤ Planned federal cuts to permanent supportive housing funds could force as many as 780 Mainers into homelessness — 124 in Bangor may lose their housing support as local officials warn the state’s shelter system is already full.
