- ➤ Northern Light Health and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield failed to reach a new deal by Tuesday's mediation deadline, leaving over 30,000 patients without in-network access at non-hospital facilities starting October 1. The dispute means Northern Light providers will exit Anthem’s Medicare network and hospital patients will lose coverage at the end of this year while talks continue—community groups are preparing temporary care solutions.
