Owner Bethany Gregory said staffing issues and problems with Square led to the complaints and that refunds will be issued once the software issues are resolved—most complaints involved failure to provide a refund. - ➤ Robinson Ballet, a Bangor staple celebrating 50 years downtown, is hosting a 24-hour fundraiser from noon Thursday to noon Friday—A Day of Giving—to raise funds for its dance programs and cover expenses such as rent and costumes. - ➤ Maine schools and organizations enrolled new voters on Tuesday during National Voter Registration Day, as eligible Mainers—including those turning 18 by Nov. 5—registered for upcoming municipal elections and a referendum on voting ID and dangerous weapons.
