- ➤ Last Saturday, Don Veneziano held his fifth annual Whoopies for Whiskers bake sale in Bangor—raising more than $500 in the first hour as he offered donations for whoopie pies, homemade pickles and T-shirts to help the Bangor Humane Society care for animals in need. WABI 5

- ➤ Stonehill defeated Maine 13-10 on Saturday night as Jack O’Connell connected with Brigham Dunphy for a 34 yard touchdown pass with 1:45 left to win the game. Maine’s only touchdown came in the second quarter on a 1 yard run by Molayo Irefin. WABI 5
