- ➤ Treworgy Family Orchards in LEVANT opened its season early on Saturday by selling 800 pounds of peaches in four hours. Owners said the farm now also offers berries and flowers—adding to its fall attractions with apple picking set to begin next weekend. FOX Bangor
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A head-on collision on Route 69 in Newburgh killed 66-year-old Peter Williams and his dog on Wednesday when his 2014 Porsche sedan crossed the centerline and struck a tractor-trailer loaded with scrap metal—officials said the tractor-trailer driver from Albion was checked at the scene and the crash remains under investigation. - ➤ Friday around 1:20 p.m., Bangor International Airport experienced its first fatal plane crash when a CESSNA A185F from the United Kingdom crashed, killing its only pilot—Saturday morning, the NTSB began investigating at a site secured overnight by Bangor Police. WABI 5

- ➤ Officials from the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office are searching for 70-year-old Pauline Berardi, who was last seen leaving her Plymouth home in a black car on August 15th—officials say she may be between Newport and Detroit. They ask anyone with information to call 947-4585. WABI 5
