- ➤ BGR and BGR Aviation are partnering with Maine Instrument Flight to build a network of female aviators in Bangor — the networking event will be held on Saturday, August 16 at 9 a.m. at BGR Aviation on Main Avenue. WABI 5
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Maine State Police are asking anyone with information on a truck involved in a crash on Interstate 95 near Orono that occurred at 3:30 p.m. Saturday near mile marker 193 just south of the on-ramp to call 207-973-3700 (ext. 9) to speak with Trooper Plaisted. Bangor Daily News
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A Milford man was arrested early Saturday after he allegedly entered a vehicle and fired rounds from a handgun — residents near Dr. Lewis S. Libby School reported loud bangs from security footage and police found him before charging 44-year-old Brian Coston with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, criminal mischief and discharging a firearm near a school — additional charges may follow. - ➤ The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office said that 15-year-old Jenna Dyer from Greenbush went missing after she was last seen on the 7th getting into a new white Chevy pickup truck with a possible heading toward the Wells area; officials ask anyone with information to call 207-947-4585. WGAN
