- ➤ Federal prosecutors said several Maine properties were used as grow houses in a multimillion-dollar marijuana operation involving money laundering and human smuggling with ties to China—seven Chinese nationals and another individual have been charged while one remains a fugitive. WABI 5

- ➤ Maine Public held a town hall on Tuesday to explain how federal funding cuts may risk 12 percent — about $2.5 million — of its budget and affect emergency alert coverage; President and CEO Rick Schneider urged callers to contact senators for support. News Center Maine
- ➤ Gov. Mills signed a law that ends new benefits for commercial solar projects and cuts compensation for existing solar arrays by about 20%—ratepayers paid $234 million in 2025.
