- ➤ Registration is open for the 2nd annual Pins and Pines Golf Scramble benefiting Pine Tree Camp's 80th anniversary and will be held on Saturday, July 26 with a 9:00 a.m. tee off at Hermon Meadow Golf Club. Foursomes cost $320 and come with a complimentary $30 green fee, contest entries and raffle draws to support the camp's open door tuition fund—ensuring every dollar helps keep the camp accessible. - ➤ Geaghan’s Pub and Craft Brewery in Bangor is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a two-day event that began yesterday featuring live music until 7 p.m. and food until 8 p.m. + it has expanded its space with a new outdoor kitchen and beer barn. Today, the celebration continues with live music from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. + the brewery, which opened on July 1st and began brewing in 2012, remains a community favorite. WABI 5
- ➤ Habitat for Humanity of Greater Bangor delivered its 30th affordable house on Wednesday morning in Bangor as Eastern Maine Community College students helped build it over nearly a decade. The 80% finished home is expected to be completed by late summer or early fall — the nonprofit is finalizing a partner family. WABI 5

- ➤ Governor Mills ended her four-day trip to Canada on Wednesday when she met Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston in Halifax and returned to Maine on Thursday—she had also met with New Brunswick leaders earlier to discuss trade and tourism. WABI 5

- ➤ Governor Mills declared yesterday as Cooper Flagg Day to honor Cooper Flagg, a Maine native from Newport who is expected to be the first pick in the NBA draft.
