- ➤ Authorities in Baxter State Park found the body of 58-year-old Tim Keiderling near the Tableland of Mt. Katahdin at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday after he went missing on Sunday from Abol Campground — search teams continue to look for his 28-year-old daughter Esther. FOX Bangor

- ➤ Maine border patrol agents arrested an Egyptian national near Pittsfield on May 30—he entered on a B-1/B-2 visa that expired in 2018 and faces deportation proceedings for alleged ties to a known terrorist organization. WABI 5
- ➤ Orrington man Mark Meierdirk, 51, was arrested Monday for allegedly setting fire to his family home on Jan 30 to collect insurance money & he faces two arson charges with bail set at $10,000 cash. Bangor Daily News
