- ➤ Breeze Airways will start nonstop flights from Bangor International Airport to Raleigh Durham next Wednesday for Mainers seeking affordable summer travel. Flights run every Wednesday and Saturday as part of Breeze’s expanded service from Bangor and Portland. Bangor Daily News

- ➤ Ruth Griffith from Parkman, who earned valedictorian honors, is set to graduate from UMaine’s honors college this month after studying economics; she completed a project analyzing local economies and will join TD Bank’s risk management team in New York while planning to run a half marathon (showing her drive).
