Michael Shepherd will become the politics and investigations editor at the BDN and Callie Ferguson will be promoted to deputy investigations editor, overseeing the Maine Focus team.

Their new roles will start on May 5 — while Erin Rhoda will leave on May 2.

Veterans on Bangor's first Honor Flight returned home on Sunday after spending the weekend in Washington D.C. seeing memorials built to honor their service, and they were greeted by Governor Mills, family, and local supporters — a milestone for Honor Flight Maine which has transported over 1,300 veterans since 2014.

On Sunday, April 27, Best Buddies hosted its 3rd annual Friendship Walk at Cameron Stadium in Bangor.
