- ➤ Lawmakers plan to debate a bill (LD 2141) that would use $4 million in unclaimed bottle deposits to support farm and lake conservation this week, with local breweries opposing the measure for fear of rising costs while conservation groups back it. Bangor Daily News
- ➤ Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey plans to end a 200-year-old Sunday hunting ban — a change that would leave Maine as the only state with the restriction.
