Alysa Nealey of Sebago is competing in Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ Super Mom contest—if she wins, she will use the $20,000 prize and Napa trip to fund a community center that offers safe, clean play spaces for immunocompromised children.

Hundreds of people of all ages gathered along the Bangor Waterfront on Saturday for the 30th annual Hike for the Homeless hosted by the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter.
