- ➤ Alysa Nealey of Sebago is competing in Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ Super Mom contest—if she wins, she will use the $20,000 prize and Napa trip to fund a community center that offers safe, clean play spaces for immunocompromised children. - ➤ Hundreds of people of all ages gathered along the Bangor Waterfront on Saturday for the 30th annual Hike for the Homeless hosted by the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter. Participants walked a 2.4 mile route beginning near Sea Dog Brewing Company—enjoyed free food, coffee, a raffle and live music—and helped raise $40,000 to support local programs. WABI 5
