- ➤ A Bangor nonprofit received $2 million in federal funds to launch its pilot project for a tiny home village for the homeless and will meet with city officials soon to choose a site — crucial for preparing roads and utilities. Bangor Daily News
- ➤ An effort is underway to help Corporal Greg Ramp and his family rebuild after a fire on March 19 left them with nothing. The Trooper Black Foundation is collecting donations until April 19 — all funds will directly aid the family. FOX Bangor

- ➤ UMaine announced actor Timothy Simons, a 2001 alumnus known for his role in Veep, will deliver the undergraduate commencement address on May 9 at Alfond Arena.
