ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Rep. Ambureen Rana from Bangor introduced a bill to study safe disposal of single-use propane canisters that are hard to recycle and often end up in the trash—lawmakers will hear testimony today and the DEP must provide recommendations by Dec. 3. The study may lead to a trade-in program or a possible ban to lessen safety risks. The Piscataquis Observer
