🏛️ Government
Broadway in Bangor will be reduced to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week to allow crews from New England Infrastructure Inc. to perform backfilling operations under I-95, and I-95 traffic is not affected.
The work is a step toward replacing the 152-foot steel girder bridge built in 1960 that sees about 50,000 crossings daily—targeted to be completed by late next year.

Cooper Flagg from Newport, Maine played his first March Madness game Friday as Duke beat Mount St. Mary's 93-49 at Somerset Pour House in Palmyra, with Flagg scoring 14 points and grabbing seven rebounds.
Local fans recalled his school days — and praised his growth on and off the court.
Maine won the Hockey East Championship by beating the UConn Huskies 5-2 in a game that featured strong plays from key players.
The Black Bears will compete in the NCAA Tournament on Sunday.
