- ➤ A Bangor-based diver with over 50 years’ experience recovered a pickup truck from Moosehead Lake on Wednesday and helped retrieve a snowmobile from North Twin Lake. The recoveries show how vehicle salvage can be expensive & require extra caution to protect the environment. Bangor Daily News

- ➤ Presque Isle International Airport’s air service has changed since 2000 with different airlines and rising subsidies, and the city council is expected next week to recommend the carrier for a new two-year contract with JetBlue+American Airlines in contention. Bangor Daily News
