- ➤ Lil Wayne will perform this summer at Maine Savings Amphitheater with special guest 2 Chainz on June 30 + tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Bangor Daily News
- ➤ Folks can catch the unique improvised musical 'A Kick in your Cabot Cove' at the Penobscot Theatre Company this weekend. The show, created by three improvisers and a music director using audience suggestions + inspired by Murder, She Wrote, features performances on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening. FOX Bangor

- ➤ Northern Maine school districts secured a $1M USDA grant this week to improve distance learning and telemedicine technology at 12 sites in Aroostook, Penobscot & Washington counties. - ➤ State Rep. Michael Brennan introduced a bill to allocate $1.5 million toward security upgrades at Maine houses of worship — the measure would let nonprofits hire off duty police and update surveillance, and a House vote is expected in the coming weeks. Bangor Daily News

- ➤ Emergency departments at Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield and CA Dean Hospital in Greenville have trained nurses ready for urgent births when regular labor units are closed. - ➤ Medical students from UNE and Tufts visited Northern Light Mayo Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft on March 11 to participate in a Rural Health Immersion that showcased the rewards and challenges of practicing care in close-knit communities.
