- ➤ Since Monday, the average price of one gallon of regular gas in Maine has risen by eight cents, & diesel has increased by 13 cents since the start of the week, while nationally prices rose by 15 cents amid rising crude oil uncertainty per AAA data. Bangor Daily News

- ➤ Hermon Fire Department adopted a new diagnostic system called one dose and one weight to measure patients' weight on stretchers and calculate correct medication dosages + the change aims to reduce errors and let responders address other needs. FOX Bangor
- ➤ Public health officials reported that 39 HIV cases linked to an outbreak in Penobscot County have been recorded. Many patients injected drugs or experienced homelessness and community groups are ramping up testing and prevention efforts. Bangor Daily News
