- ➤ Veazie's robotics team is raising funds to travel to Houston for an international competition and began building their robot in October. They are now seeking sponsors — donations will help support their trip as the team competes in the Worlds event for the first time in over a decade. WABI 5
- ➤ Husson University will offer free tuition for Piscataquis County students with a scholarship honoring alumnus Harry Greenfield — who graduated in the 1960s — if they enroll full time in a degree program lasting four years starting fall 2026 and meet a 3.0 GPA and income guideline. - ➤ Legislators are considering a bill to cap hospital prices at 200% of Medicare reimbursements to lower costs for families, but Northern Light Health warns the measure could force service cuts and closures plus drive patients out of state.
