- ➤ UMaine demolished Crossland Hall on Wednesday in Orono as part of its plan to remove the 1833 building due for modernization. - ➤ The Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor and Needlepoint Sanctuary are launching a six-month pilot syringe program today to provide clean syringes and safe disposal amid a rise in HIV cases in Penobscot County.
