ECONOMY NEWS

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Today, warmer weather has led to ice dams forming on local roofs — increasing the risk of leaks if water finds its way under shingles. Local hardware stores have nearly run out of roof rakes, so experts advise calling professionals to avoid roof damage.  FOX Bangor
  • Bangor has seen its coldest winter in nearly 20 years with below normal temperatures since December and steady snowfall, and meteorologists say the chill will persist into early February with a chance for a mild break later.  News Center Maine
